Holbeck

Holbeck
Holbeck, located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, is an urban area that starts at the southern border of Leeds city centre, mainly encompassing the LS11 postcode district. Previously, both the M1 and M621 motorways had a presence in Holbeck, yet now only the M621 runs through the region, as the M1 endpoint was relocated to Hook Moor near Aberford. Due to preparations for the area's regeneration, significant parts of Holbeck have been emptied, resulting in a decline in population. As of 2011, the population of Holbeck stood at 5,505 residents. Currently, the district falls under the jurisdiction of the Beeston and Holbeck ward of Leeds City Council. When exploring Holbeck, visitors will discover a unique blend of history, culture, and modern developments, making it an intriguing destination with a range of activities and attractions to enjoy.
